GREEN Solar Academy is a subsidiary of maxx-solar, one of Africa's first solar PV training institutions. It was established by the German Solar Energy Society (DGS) and maxx-solar energy in South Africa in 2011 and then expanded to Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Lesotho, Togo, Ghana, Angola and Mozambique. Since then, hundreds of engineers, architects, craftsmen and interested citizens have participated in the Academy's courses. All courses are centrally managed, and their quality is guaranteed by the GREEN Solar Academy team. The trainings are offered locally by GRE.
